It is with great delight that we have put together this website as a one-stop page for all your adventures at Kano Zoo and the Falgore Game Reserve.
Do you know Kano Zoo is the largest Zoo in Nigeria in terms of animal species and land size?
We boost of over 45 species of wild animals around the zoo ranging from the herbivorous, carnivorous and omnivorous comprising of indigenous and exotic species. The Agency also a holds reserve that spans about 920 km² of wilderness ranging from a Lush vegetation of trees such as Afzelia africana, various Acacias and also free roaming wild lives such as Hyena, Bush bucks and several other wild animals exhibiting their natural distinct behaviors in a protected environment.
I thank you for your continued support in the conservation of Fauna and Flora which is the natural solution to mitigate the challenges of climate change, we will continue to work hard in safe guarding and enhancing the resilience of our ecosystem and protect the flowing waters that cut across the Falgore Game reserve. Remember conservation and restoration of this natural assets is our joint responsibility.
