Habitat: Savanna especially those with acacia and other thorny trees and bushes.
Feeding Habit: Herbivores, the Giraffe browses higher than any other mammals, mainly for leaves of acacia and wild apricot, but also shoots, fruits, and other vegetation.
Gestation Period: 14 – 15 Months.
Lifespan: 28 years in captivity.
Conservation Status: Vulnerable (VU).
