Weight: 4 – 6.8kg male larger than female.
Habitat: Marshes, rivers, and Lakes surrounded, by open grasslands, farms, and few trees.
Feeding Habit: Graze mostly on Land, its diet varies with grains, groundnuts, fruits, vegetables, tubers and offal.
Nesting: Isolated pair nest in reeds, trees, and abandoned nest of large birds.
Lifespan: 11.3 Years in captivity.
Conservation Status: Least concern. (LC)
