Weight: 2.3 – 4.5kg.
Habitat: Open grassland, Savanna, Lakesides and farms.
Feeding Habit: Large number of White storks congregate at grass fires and locust swarms. They also feed opportunistically on rodents, frogs, reptiles, earthworms, and fish.
Nesting: Build a stick nest on a Church, house, or trees either alone or in small clusters. Usually lays 4eggs and hatch after 33 – 34 days.
Lifespan: 35 years in captivity.
Conservation Status: Least concern (LC).
